Since the mid-2000s, the old office building in Pilestræde 43, better known as Spilhuset (House of Games), has served as the fertile nurturing grounds for countless ambitious and hopeful game and tech startups. Over the years, Spilhuset has been home to many of the nation’s most notable game studios including Playdead, KnapNok Games and Press Play, and has played a significant role in fostering the Danish game scene and its tight-knitted welcoming community.
Time: Tuesday 18 April from 3pm to 5 pm.
Place: Spilhuset, Pilestræde 43, 1, 1112 Copenhagen
Entrance: Free, no sign-up required.
In celebration of Games Week Denmark, Spilhuset would like to invite everybody to an informal reception in one of the industry’s most historically significant buildings.
Drop by for some cozy socialisation and meet the awesome studios inhabiting the space. Spilhuset will serve refreshments and there will be a showcase with hands-on demos including a couple of world premieres. The perfect place to start your first evening of Games Week Denmark!
